6th Grade Sports

6th Grade Sports

Athletic Director:
Nathan Oliver
Maple View Middle School

Five different sports are offered to our 6th grade students during the school year. The intent is to provide our incoming middle school students an opportunity to explore different sports without the concern of being cut. These are fun, short seasons followed by a jamboree against STMS at the end of the season. Practices will be held two days per week, Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 7:00 am to 7:45 am. Athletes who wish to participate must give the coach their pink card at their first practice and wear appropriate shoes/clothing and provide their own transportation to each practice.

Pink Cards: A Pink Card is our way of communicating between the athletic director and coaches that athletes have submitted all the necessary paperwork to participate. The Pink Card will be given to the coach at the first practice, and is no longer needed after that. If a student shows up to practice without a pink card, he or she will not be allowed to participate.
